A Glacier Called the Shoe String
The Shoe String Glacier Became a Lahar on the SE Side of Mt Saint Helens May 18 1980. The Lahar Roared down the Mountain and was Split in Two. One Part Headed Down Pine Creek and Dumped into Swift Resrvoir. This Portion Pushed into Lava Canyon
